Rightly Dividing Christmas  VI

In Whom Do We Put Our Trust?

Are You Wearing Down?

As we see things going the way they are going - and we get challenged all the time about being a Paul following Christian, we can wear down from the battle, even though we know we win the war!  (Revelation 19)

And we can't forget that the devil always wants to wear us down!

We still must maintain our trust in the living God! This trust should cause us to make changes our personal and private lives!

A Few False Trusts - Do we trust in...

Can We "Know" What / Who We are Trusting?
We Sure Can!
It is called 'confidence,' 'boldness,' 'all riches of the full assurance of understanding'

We are trusting in the testimony of Jesus Christ and in what He has told to Paul to tell and show us!

I.  We are not ashamed of Paul, his prisoner - in fact:
II. We are trusting in the testimony of Jesus Christ in:

His Birth to be true!

His Death to have taken place! His Resurrection to have really happened! The "Finished" Work of the Cross! The Blood of Jesus Christ His Walk that was fulfilled! His Word

Conclusion:

- We are trusting in the Risen Christ -
The Living God
And we can know it!

Acts 26:18 - To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

I Timothy 4:10 - For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

I Timothy 6:17 - Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
