Understanding rightly dividing makes me ask these two questions:

1st Question:  "How did we get to where we are today?"
2nd Question: "Why it is always the 'women' who appear to be spiritual in a church and the men are just reluctant to 'get it going!'"

Today
Laodicean!
Following wrong gospel in most churches!

Why?
Ezekiel 16:49 - pride, fulness of bread, abundance of idleness along with Romans 1, etc.
I Timothy 6:10 - folks have erred from the faith
I Timothy 6:21 - folks have erred concerning the faith
II Timothy 2:18 - the faith was overthrown
II Timothy 3:8 - men have resisted the truth, are men of corrupt minds - gone reprobate concerning the truth
I Timothy 4:1 - been seduced by seducing spirits and doctrines of devils
I Timothy 3:13 - no great boldness from preachers anymore.  They have gone from boldness to loudness and now to friendliness!
Colossians 2:7 - people are no longer rooted and built up in him - they are stablished in the faith, nor are they being taught to be!
Riches, love of money, etc. Luke, Timothy, etc.

Folks are living 'their' faith instead of 'the faith.'

Many faiths?
There are not many faiths - there is ONE FAITH - and it is HIS faith!
Ephesians 4:5
Colossians 2:7

Witnesses
Hebrews 12:1 - many witnesses - these are witnesses of the walk during the early tribulation.
Today, we are to be a witness of the Scriptures - Paul's gospel and all that goes with that ... grace, inner peace, holiness because not to be, joy, peace, judgment based on Scriptures, liberty and FAITH, etc.

Here is the outline to a new reason to WHY things are the way they are today
as well as why the women are more active in churches and a 'spirituality' than most men!

Adam and Eve showed us the pattern that we follow today, men!

Strong Man had to be taken down

    Jeremiah 50:37 - became as women
    Jeremiah 51:30 - became as women
    Jeremiah 44:15-17 - and the men knew what the women were doing was wrong!

Women rule
    Isaiah 3:12; 16-25
    Proverbs 31:3

Women are deceivable
    I Timothy 2:14
    I Peter 3:7

Paul's Problem People
    Acts 13:50 - honourable and devout women!

LADIES WERE BEWITCHED WITH THE WRONG GOSPEL
AND THE MEN HAVE ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN!
Galatians 3:1,2 -  O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?  This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

You will see this more clearly as we continue through Hebrews to Jude.

This is not a lady bashing sermon - or an anti-lady hatred sermon.  This is about the men, actually.

Men, we must NOT allow our women and daughters to be deceived anymore.  The teachings of today's modern Christianity (Baptists included) are coming from Hebrews to Jude and the Gospels and that makes that a false gospel today.  That stuff is now for tomorrow, not today.

Women have been deceived - and we have allowed it men!

We have been usurped!  I Timothy 2:12
The ladies have been bewitched - and we allowed it.

The ladies have fallen for the modern gospel - and men just don't care - and so, like Adam, they participate anyway.

Men - lead your wife and daughters to the Lord through Paul's gospel!

Liberty in Christ
    Romans 8:21 - glorious

Guidelines for that liberty for the men to guide their family:
    I Corinthians 8:9 - not to be a stumbling block
    Galatians 5:13 - not as occasion for the flesh
    I Corinthians 10:23 - must edify
