Absolute Music for an Absolute God
A Distinction in the Sounds
The Design of Japheth's Purest Music

(of course, there is preaching within the audio that you won't find in the notes/outline)

So called - "Christian Music"
In Bible Believing Churches Today
has nothing to do with Japheth's Music!

Brings WORLD into the church / your family / your life!
Brings the church / your family / your life into the WORLD!

Heart yesterday, flesh today!
In the days of the early church, the Great Commission days, the rejoicing was right - their tongue was glad - and their flesh rested in hope.  Today, in the marvelous days of Paul's gospel,  the flesh is being taught to rest in the music! Acts 2:26 - Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

During the opening music listening session:
This is what we are supposed to do:
Ezekiel 44:23 - And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

This is what the music now in our Bible Believing churches is doing:
Ezekiel 36:20 - And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

P.S. - How do you "feel" when the music sample stops suddenly?
Once again, you have recognized how your flesh responds to this kind of music!

Ye ole' flesh!
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Romans 7:18
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Romans 13:14
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:5
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7:25
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:8
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:4:

A Distinction in the Sounds
And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds,
how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
I Corinthians 14:7,8

I Cor 14:7,8 is stated as a fact...

A trumpet / the music / the preacher / the father, etc. must be distinctively be a Christian - according to the Book - so they can warn folks & family!
Ezekiel 33:3-6 - If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;  Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.  He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him.  But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.   But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
Jeremiah 6:16,17 - Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.  But they said, We will not walk therein.  Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet.  But they said, We will not hearken.
Jeremiah 42:13, 14 - But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,  Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

Music can please God!
II Chronicles 5:12,13   Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)  It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

Years ago, the few (if any) Southern traveling families in our Bible Believing churches used to at least LOOK distinctively Christian, but that is even disappearing today.

Your Music Exposes Your Heart

Your music shows WHO and WHAT you are!
Your music is your spiritual thermometer!

Are you led by the Spirit of God, the spirit of the antichrist or by your flesh?
Does it affect your mind, your feet...
or does it please God?

Why should you have somebody ELSE sing for you?
Psalm 35:27,28 -  Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.  And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Psalm 51:14,15 - Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.  O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
Psalm 66:17 - I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

Christians today are allowing this to happen to their tongue!
Psalm 137:6 - If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

Your music exposes you for what you are!
A lost person - or a carnal Christian - or a deceived Christian, etc.
Matthew 12:33-35 - Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Matthew 15:18 - But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Luke 6:43-46 - For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

No heart these days - more and more flesh!
Matthew 15:8 - This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:  Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

The word is missing more and more!
Romans 10:8 - But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Your Music Should Be a Result, Not a Cause!

The Biblical cause is to preach, not perform!
I Corinthians 1:18-21, etc.
II Timothy 4:2
etc.

Purpose of music - Psalm 68:4

Today's music, what folks are calling a 'ministry' is really only:

Song is the language of thanksgiving, of devotion, of triumph; hence it is the legitimate expression of emotions of those who joy in the Lord, having become reconciled unto him, and thus prepared to show forth the praises of Him who has called them to glory and virtue.

Today's song is of the imitation Christian, produced from imitation churches, made by imitation pastors preaching imitation sermons.  Sad to see that imitation coming from Bible Believing Churches now.

Notice, towards the end of the Tribulation, God will eventually stop the voices of musicians!
- maybe it will all be imitation - and be the voice of the devil -

The preaching and praises of the truth will be done!

And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee;
and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee;
and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
Revelation 18:22
